Our holiday cards this year......December 23, 2008 | Posted by: Julie Cruz | Category: My LifeOur cards went out a few weeks ago (made again by my amazing sister Katie of Eitak Designs - http://www.eitak.com/, but I finally took a few pics (sorry for the left over rain and gloom in the pics)....
  Oh and of course I sent out "Lot116 Photography" (instead of "The Cruz Family) versions for my super awesome clients, but yeah, those are all gone...and I actually only had the one above because 2 got sent back to me (sorry Andie and Yesica!!). It's a good thing though....otherwise I would have just had to post the email proof my sister sent me ;)
The actual "JOY" and "CHEER" pics.......
  PJ had a BLAST washing dishes....which is why she is truly JOYful in the "JOY" pic. You can't see them in the pic, but she even had those yellow dishwashing gloves on!
The Cheer pic was harder because mommy isn't the brightest crayon in the box and ummm...made her hold that FULL bottle (which was a bit too heavy for her)....not to mention the the tight space and super low light in the laundry room.
Well, tomorrow is Christmas Eve....and I still can't believe it. We celebrate Christmas Eve with Mark's family, and then Christmas Day with my family, so besides popping on to announce the winner of the "Giving is Awesome" contest tomorrow, I won't be around much.

Tot Trends Weekly..........December 15, 2008 | Posted by: Julie Cruz | Category: PressI'm super happy (and flattered) to announce my 3rd Tot Trends Weekly ( http://www.tottrendsweekly.com/ ) cover this year! This photo was actually one of our holiday photos from LAST year, but the folks at TTW loved it and said it was PERFECT for the theme (and time of year), and asked if they could use it. I am shocked every time they email me to ask if they can use one of my photos :)
   On another note, ***PLEASE KEEP THE NOMINATIONS FOR THE "GIVING IS AWESOME" CONTEST COMING!***.
It can be anyone! Someone living with cancer, someone who has lost a loved one recently, someone who has lost their home, someone who has lost a loved one in the military, someone who hasn't seen their husband, father, mother, etc in months due to the military, someone who has lived through a near fatal accident, someone who has overcome an addiction like drugs and/or alcohol, etc, etc, etc. There are so many different situations, and I would love to hear about them all and donate my services for free.
The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve (12/24).
