My last shoot in LA was with twin girls Leynah and Vivienne.  8/9 months is one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph, so I had been looking forward to this shoot for months! Earlier in the year I found an awesome little tub (which you guys might remember from this shoot - http://www.lot116.com/blog.php?id=427)  and I specifically bought it in mind for this shoot. I knew it would be warm (ok, make that HOT) enough out to use it.....and one chubby naked baby in it would already be to die for....let alone TWO? Yes, perfect! Ok, ok....enough rambling...let's get to the cuteness.......

........and what better way to end a shoot?.....

 

I photographed miss Emma last year for her 1 year pics....and wow, what a difference a year makes! Last year she was still crawling around and cruising and had just a teeny bit of hair. Now that she's 2, she's running around like crazy, talking a lot, has long hair......and is still as cute as ever. Emma (like pretty much all kids under the age of about 4) was off and running throughout the shoot and was so adorable with her little doll (which she kept taking the top off of. Perhaps she was prepping dolly for Mardi Gras? ;) hehe). 

This weekend I had not one, not two, but THREE shoots.......in LA! On top of my shoots, I attended 2 baby showers......so needless to say it was a very crazy weekend :) 

My first shoot of the weekend was with Nikki (who just turned 5) and her parents. Nikki is so sweet, so well behaved, so quiet....yet is also quite silly and goofy! She loved making faces at me and giggling like crazy afterwards.  I have been lucky enough to watch this little girl grow up.......

In between shoots and editing, i'm enjoying the summer with PJ. Summer is always awesome since my nephew and niece (PJ's idol) are out of school and we get to spend a lot of time with them.

PJ absolutely LOVES that place and can spend HOURS there.

Is that not the cutest bunny EVER!??? Ok...even if it isn't.....it's quite awesome that my 4 year old made that completely on her own! :)

The infamous pillow room! Quite possibly PJ's favorite room. She is always a sweaty mess when we walk out.....but it's a great room for spazzoids like PJ who need to burn some energy ;)  PERFECT right before nap time.....and yes, i'm lucky enough to say that my 4 year old still takes naps ;) 

The people who work there are awesome. They are ALWAYS nice, fun and friendly. Plus, they will stack foam tires on top of your kid until they hit the ceiling.... and then push them over! I know it sounds mean....but the kids (including PJ who was inside of this one) LOVE it and keep asking to do it over and over and over again :) 

Even the ceilings are cool :)

I photographed Katie and her siblings a few months back and was thrilled when she contacted me about shooting her senior portraits.  For my first ever senior portraits, there is no other senior in the world more perfect than Katie! She's GORGEOUS, has a perfect smile, needs NO direction, is completely comfortable in front of the camera, did I mention GORGEOUS?? ;) Seriously though, she's got to be "that girl" at school that every boy is drooling over....and every girl is wishing they were. Not only is Katie beautiful, she's one of the sweetest girls i've ever met, has a great sense of humor and will be going to school to become a nurse after she graduates next year. I can see many boys purposely hurting themselves and making their way back to hospitals after she's their nurse ;)   

As I was leaving, I saw 2 beach cruisers perfectly parked.....so I had to snap a pic.....
