Ok, so Macy (our pug) was supposed to be Robin, but of course a Robin costume in her size was nowhere to be found! :( It's ok though, a girl can never have too many Batman's (err Batmen?) in her life ;) Yes, miss PJ decided to be Batgirl this year. During this shoot she was so "in character" that I literally had to MAKE her smile...and she kept telling me that "Batgirl doesn't smile!!". She was sneaking around buildings in the most serious way, coming up with "Batgirl poses", etc. Hilarious. Oh and disclaimer: PJ must have had a growth spurt because that costume was NOT a mirco mini skirt when we got it a few months ago! Yeah, note to self: Try on the costume BEFORE you arrive at the shoot location ;) She WILL be wearing tights or leggings with it for school and trick or treating ;) hahaha.

Anyway, we've had a busy week and are going to have an even busier weekend, so have a wonderful and safe Halloween everyone!! :) 

The weather this weekend was terrible. It was pretty much a constant hard drizzle and ZERO sun all.weekend.long. Luckily my two shoots on Saturday were indoors! Still though, without any sunlight, ISO was pushed to the limits ;) Anyway, because of the rain, my mini sessions (which are outdoor shoots) needed to be rescheduled. My first shoot on Saturday was at The New Children's Museum. They asked me to come shoot the "Move 'n Groove Family Dance Jam", which was a fun filled music and dance day for everyone. There were performances by Studio FX, Super Galactic Beat Manipulators, Olio and more. Everyone had a blast learning dance steps, watching the performances, singing karaoke and dancing away. October (10) 10th, 2010.....with one of my "Perfect 10" families! :) 

Mama booked this shoot last November....and we knew we just HAD to shoot on 10/10/10! Last year when I photographed them, baby Harlow was still in mama's belly. Well miss Harlow is 8 months old now and such a sweetheart. She is a little doll! Big brother Gavin is still one of the most behaved kiddos on the block. He is SO sweet, listens well....and of course is super handsome. Big sister Mila is just gorgeous! She's also a crack up though....and a bit of a diva I might say ;)  All three of these kiddos are just SO darn cute...heck, the whole family is!...hence the "10".  I often have people ask me what they should wear to their shoots. This family is a perfect example of what TO wear. Fun bright colors, super cute styles, you name it. Alright, almost time to get ready to help out in PJ's class today. I have a super busy weekend ahead of me (commercial shoot, b-day party shoot and 4 mini sessions), so come back in a few days since next week will be another busy blog week! Miss Kiana was all smiles and giggles during the shoot. The hard part? She has some new teeth coming in, so her hands were in her mouth A LOT during the shoot (hehe). It's ok though, because daddy and mommy were there to be the official "hand puller outters".....and even the shots with her hand(s) in her mouth are adorable. It captures just who she is right now ;) Oh and mama brought some balloons since Kiana is turning 1 this month! Prepare for cuteness......

Faith and Mason were more kiddos that I hadn't seen in over a year. Just like Sam and Avery, these two cuties had grown so much! Mason is 2 now, and like all 2 year olds, he was all over the place. He loved walking right up to me, chatting away (in "Mason talk" hehe), smiling mischievously and then running off giggling. And Faith....ohhhh Faith, where do I even begin? This little girl is just gorgeous and completely natural in front of the camera. I could seriously photograph her all day..........
