I'll be posting more from this shoot in a few weeks since I can't spoil the surprise for my sister's annual New Year/Chinese New Year cards.

All I know is that I have some awesome new locations now...which I can't wait to finish trying out :)

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing an absolutely gorgeous girl. Jacklyn and her mom traveled all the way from Redlands just for our photo shoot! When mom (who booked this shoot back in September) told me she liked more "edgy" shoot locations, I was THRILLED. Urban/street shoots are my favorite type, but since majority of my clients include toddlers, streets usually aren't the safest places for photo shoots. Jacklyn totally reminds me of a cross between Alicia Silverstone and Heather Graham. She's beautiful, sweet as pie, and will one day be Miss America.....I just know it! We had a blast at the shoot, and Jacklyn was up for anything........

Isn't she beautiful?? I know I posted a ton of "sneak peeks"....but how could I not? She's totally model material! :)

Yesterday I had my first shoot of the year! Mom contacted me a few months ago after seeing some photos I took for one of her co-workers. Apparently she cried while looking at THOSE photos......so I have a feeling she might need some tissues when she sees these.... after all, this is HER beautiful family this time ;)

Big brother Noah is 3 years old and is a silly, handsome and sweet little guy who has awesome style. I looooove rainboots.

Baby sister Kaya turned 1 yesterday! Very cool that her 1 year photos were exactly ON her birthday. Kaya is a smiley and pretty little girl who is almost walking...and put up with us (and the cold winds) even though it was nearing her nap time.
