Due to the rain, all of my shoots that were scheduled in the past few weeks had to be rescheduled. Oh and surprise...it's raining AGAIN.  Yeah, i'm officially OVER the rain. 

 Don't worry though, starting this weekend (unless the weather decides to "RAIN on my parade" some more LOL), the sneak peeks will be coming back like crazy.  I was also waiting on two of my clients to give birth....and guess what?....they both had their babies on the SAME day! :)  Newborn shoots are always tricky to schedule since you can't really schedule them until after the little ones arrive.  Add that on top of rescheduled shoots, previously scheduled shoots, etc...and yeah, things get a little nuts :)

So yeah, the next 3 weeks are going to be busy for me, but then i'm taking about 2 weeks off around PJ's 4th birthday! Who said she could turn 4 already!?!? :( 

Anyway, DON'T FORGET that *THIS FRIDAY* (2/20) is the last day to enter your kid(s) into the *MODELING CONTEST*!

The winner will receive a modeling contract with Zuri Model and Talent AND win a free shoot with me (to provide head shots, etc)!!

Well after her shoot, I sent her photos to Lindsay of Zuri. A few weeks later, Jacklyn and her mom met with Lindsay and signed with Zuri!  Hopefully soon we'll be seeing Jacklyn's beautiful face in stores, magazines, etc :)   Congrats Jacklyn!! :)

I have a love/hate relationship with the rain. I love it when I can be curled up at home watching movies all day......but hate it when I need to be somewhere. My 3 shoots for this weekend had to be rescheduled due to the craptastic weather. Can't it just rain on the days that I DON'T have scheduled shoots? ;) 

On top of the fact that the weather ruined my weekend, PJ suddenly broke out in fevers late Friday night. Saturday morning the fevers continued, and she even coughed and gagged at one point and threw up. Yeah....good times....especially since that night was my brother in law's engagement party!   There was no way we couldn't go to the party (my husband is the best man and PJ is one of the flower girls), so we trekked through the rain and tried to enjoy ourselves as much as possible...all while worrying about PJ. Poor PJ slept on the couch 90% of the time we were there....and then asked to go home. If you know PJ...you know that's NOT normal. She's usually the kid running laps around the house, helping herself to desserts and any other junk she normally doesn't get to have, etc.  What I HAVE managed to get her to eat in the past 3 days isn't as much as she normally eats during half to ONE day. Oh and she has not left our bed for longer than maybe a few hours total....all weekend (and today). She's definitely not feeling well.

As if the weekend couldn't get any worse, Sunday she threw up again....and started having....well as PJ calls it... "diary" (oh yes, i'll let you figure that one out ;) LOL).  So while my sister's and their families left for a week in Mammoth early this morning.....PJ and I (who were supposed to go too) are here at home, stuck in the house while the rain comes down...and the winds are blowing so hard that i'm just waiting for the Wicked Witch of the West to ride by on her broomstick. 

What a killer weekend right? Yeah, try not to be too jealous ;) 

Anyway, i'm not even sure why I posted that pic above in color. The mood around here is more like this..........

I did manage to snap some photos at the engagement party though (since I was the designated photographer...like all family events).......
