Any of you who are in San Diego know what crazy weather we've been having. Well starting last week the weather was SUPER strange. It was cold, completely foggy, cloudy, drizzling, raining, etc. Honestly I was cursing Seattle and telling them to take *their* weather back ;) Oh and just for kicks, today there is thunder and lighting!!.....but no rain (yet)!!?! Seriously? I swear Chicken Little is gonna run by screaming "THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!" any minute.
Well due to the craptacular weather, both of my weekend shoots had to be rescheduled.....so I technically ended up with TWO weeks off (instead of just the one for Memorial Day weekend/week I had planned). Every time I have some time off, I try my hardest to make sure that I do fun stuff with PJ. To make a long story short, within the past week, we've done Disneyland, Legoland, the movies ("Up"), story time at the bookstore, 2 birthday parties, dinners with friends, etc. Don't ask me....I have no idea how I even have the energy to do it all......but I somehow do.
We went once last year right after they first opened, but finally headed back yesterday and bought an annual family membership (only $85 for 2 adults and ALL kids in the household!). Anyway, it's a great (and green!) place where you can spend hours doing different activities and workshops.
Since my poor camera had been neglected for over 2 weeks, I decided to bring it and shoot while PJ played.

The jumping shots were PJ's fave. After each jump, she would run over and say "Can I see!??" and would *gasp*, laugh and run off and do it again..........
Sometimes you need to put your elbows into it ;) .......

The best part about this pic is that you can see my giant hand making a dog...which was about to attack PJ......

Tiring....but fun........
As long as the weather cooperates, shoots will be back starting on Saturday and Sunday, followed by a newborn shoot next week (the little guy was probably JUST born as I type this!! Congrats G!!!), etc, etc. It's going to be a busy, busy month....especially with the 2 reschedules, so be sure to check back often! :)

ETA - Ok, NOW it's totally raining (or crap, is that hail???)...along with the thunder and lightning.
ETA x 2 - I kid you not, by the time I had finished writing the last sentence, the rain had stopped completely. Still thunder and lighting...but no rain.
