.......and I think she definitely picked up design and musical talents from daddy.  Last week she stole my phone (as usual) and came back to show me this pattern she made.....

Anyway, it's been crazy around here.  Shoots, editing, tons of emails, receiving deposits for 2010, mailing out discs to clients, trips to LA, etc. The madness continues since i'm off for a shoot soon (can't WAIT to see how Jagger has grown!) and tomorrow is my nephew's 5th birthday party (which will be insanely awesome Star Wars geekdom)....which of course i'm technically "working" at  since i'm the designated photographer (see...told you i'm *always* working) per usual.  Be sure to come back on Monday, as well as throughout the week,  for fun stuff and sneak peeks :)

I left my house yesterday evening thinking "Sweet! The sun is shining...let's do this!". Well about 5 minutes later, I went over a hill and saw the ocean.....and the sunshine was NOT there. Instead it was gloomy, overcast, even a bit windy and chilly. Really San Diego? Really? It's been hotter than hell lately and the ONE day I have a beach shoot it looks like a tsunami is going to roll in at any minute? Yeah, superb.   The shoot went awesome anyway. I only wish I was able to get some sun flare and sunset shots....but what can you do?  Regardless of weather, it was impossible not to take completely and utterly adorable and loving photos of this model perfect family.  Jack (who is quite possibly one of best listening 3 year olds i've ever met!...I honestly thought he was 5 or 6!) and Mitch (who just turned 1 and was such a smiley guy!) were amazing and sweet as can be. Not a single fit, tear, whine, etc the entire session (which is pretty rare from 1 and 3 year olds!)....it's no wonder why they have a little sister or brother (it's a surprise!) on the way! ;)   Everything was absolutely perfect....except for the gloom....but we rocked it out anyway :) 

Mitch just started walking and mom was hoping for at least one shot of him walking on the beach.  I think this one just might melt her heart....

 

I truly luck out with the best looking clients. Kristy and her husband Casey are expecting their first baby in a few weeks and drove out from Las Vegas to visit family, attend a baby shower and meet me for their shoot.  We laughed A LOT, got dirty, had ants and bugs crawl on us, had dogs, goats and a cat try and join in on the pics.....and got wet....but i'm pretty sure it was ALL worth it............

Kristy would much rather be having a beer (don't worry folks, she didn't drink the Coke either, it was purely for pics ;) hehe).....

The name hasn't been decided for sure yet, so we did a heart instead :) 

This next shot was not planned at all. As Kristy got in the pool, Pheona (the dog) jumped in to get her ball. I snapped at the perfect moment and got quite possibly one of the cutest photos of Kristy ever! :) 

Oh and don't worry Kristy, you'll see your feet again soon ;)
